The problem
A high-traffic suburban mall needed façade sealant works at height that could not interrupt trading or block shopper access at ground level.
Our approach
Our IRATA team abseiled the façade to seal the joints from above, cordoning only minimal ground area so the mall traded as normal.
Method
Rope-access application of weatherproof silicone sealant to the façade joints, tooled cleanly against the curtain wall.
Outcome
The mall’s façade joints were sealed and weatherproofed with no impact on trading hours or shopper access, and none of the cost of scaffolding a live retail frontage.
