Condominium façade sealant, East Coast
East Coast, Singapore 2026
Rope-access façade sealant works on a seafront condominium’s glass curtain wall, renewing the joints with colour-matched silicone and no scaffolding over the residences.
The problem
A seafront condominium’s curtain-wall façade, exposed to salt air and driving rain, had failing sealant joints that risked seepage into the units behind them.
Our approach
We deployed a rope-access team to abseil the glass elevations and renew the joints with colour-matched silicone, working above an occupied residential block without scaffolding.
Method
Rope-access removal of perished sealant and re-sealing of the curtain-wall and louvre joints with grey and black silicone to match the façade, across the affected levels.
Outcome
The façade was re-sealed against the coastal weather with minimal disruption to residents and no scaffolding erected over the development.
